Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Vymasi is a non-custodial, on-chain protocol. This policy explains what limited data we process, what we deliberately do not collect, and why interacting with a public blockchain means some of your activity is permanent and visible to everyone.
1Scope & who we are
This policy covers the Vymasi website, documentation and web application (the "Services"), operated by an independent research group. It does not cover the underlying blockchain, third-party wallets, RPC providers or any external site the Services link to, each of which is governed by its own terms and privacy practices.
2We are non-custodial
We never take custody of your funds, your private keys or your $VYMASI. All staking and settlement is executed by smart contracts that you authorize directly from your own wallet. We cannot move, freeze or recover assets, and we do not hold balances on your behalf.
3On-chain data is public & permanent
When you connect a wallet and transact, your wallet address and the details of those transactions — stakes, backings, payouts and fills — are recorded on a public blockchain. This information is pseudonymous but not private: it is broadcast to the network, replicated across nodes, and generally cannot be altered or deleted by us or by anyone.
Anyone can view, index and analyze on-chain activity associated with your address. If you link that address to your real-world identity elsewhere, third parties may be able to do the same. We do not control and cannot erase on-chain data.
4Information we process
- Wallet address. When you connect a wallet, we process its public address to display your positions and enable interaction with the contracts. We do not receive your private keys or seed phrase.
- Usage & device data. Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring URLs, collected to operate and secure the Services and to understand aggregate usage.
- Communications. If you contact us through the channels listed in the site footer, we process the information you choose to send.
We do not ask for or intentionally collect names, emails, government identifiers or other directly identifying information as a condition of using the core protocol.
6Third-party services
To function, the Services rely on third parties including wallet providers, blockchain RPC endpoints, content-delivery networks and analytics tooling. When you use the Services, these providers may process technical data such as your IP address or wallet address. We select providers we consider reasonable but do not control their practices; review their policies for details.
7How we use data
We use the limited data we process to operate, maintain and secure the Services, to display accurate on-chain state, to detect and prevent abuse or fraud, to analyze aggregate usage, and to comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
8Retention
Off-chain operational data (such as server logs and analytics) is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above and then deleted or aggregated. On-chain data is outside our control and persists permanently on the public ledger regardless of any request.
9Your choices & rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct or delete certain off-chain personal data we hold. We will honor valid requests to the extent they apply to data within our control. We cannot modify or remove information already recorded on a public blockchain.
10No use by minors
The Services are not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly process data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Services, contact us via the footer channels.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the protocol and applicable law evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
12Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be directed to us through the official channels listed in the footer of this site. We do not maintain a separate contact address in this document to avoid impersonation.
